I’ll be traveling to eastern Kentucky this weekend to visit family and work on my personal project about coal. So many people, myself included, don’t stop to think before using electricity. Where does it come from? How is it mined? Who are the people involved? I’m no fan of mountaintop removal coal mining, but it’s a much bigger issue that needs to be documented from both sides.
